Croque Monsieur

Bread
Swiss Cheese
Ham
Cream
Butter

Cut the crusts from thin slices of white bread. Grate and mix the Swiss cheese with heavy cream to make a paste. Spread the paste on each piece of bread. Put a thin piece of ham between the slices and put them together. Dip the sandwich in a beaten egg and sauté in hot butter until the outsides are golden and crisp.
