Bob Willett's Stuffing

Print Email

The fixings for my favorite Jimmy Dean sausage dressing recipe, which my good friend, Bob Willet, concocted several years earlier.

Take a box of Mrs. Cubbison's seasoned stuffing mix, a bag of Pepperidge Farms brown bread stuffing mix and a bag of cubed bread stuffing mix.

Add 3-4 packages browned and drained Jimmy Dean's sage seasoned pork sausage, one stalk or less of chopped celery, one and a half brown onions chopped, sage and poultry seasoning to taste, 3-4 cans low fat and no salt Swanson’s chicken broth.

Knead well, bake to an internal temperature of 165-170°F and enjoy.

Allow one-half cup of stuffing for each pound of turkey.
