I happen to like liver, like I really like it, although lately, even I understand why someone could say “Yucch liverwurst.”
Two slices of liverwurst
Two slices of challah bread (or white bread or Hawaian Sweet Bread)
Thinly sliced Tomatoes
Mayonnaise
Toasted or untoasted. This is a really good sandwich, if you like liverwurst.
Serve with cornichon as an accompaniment.
