I don’t understand why Japanese sushi restaurants sometimes put that green plastic thing on the sushi plate as decoration.   My friend John thinks it looks like the dow jones ticker on a particularly up-and-down day.

Lining up inside a pod.

But in fact it wouldn’t be,

If you were a baby pea.

Lay your caps and heads

Gently on your cozy mushroom beds.

The loam’s soft and spongy,

The light’s right for fungi,
