grate four baking potatoes
grate one onion
one egg lightly beaten
hot skillet with chicken fat
spoon the mixture evenly into the skillet
turn once until perfectly golden brown
season to taste
platter them
serve with sour cream and caviar
not sure whether they will taste good or not ... doesn't matter... they'll kill you anyway
(editor's note -- of course, they'll taste good...although we've never heard of the chicken fat latke recipe, we're going to try it on the week-end)
