Fresh Spinach
A Jar of Pickled Beets
A red onion
Wash and dry and trim spinach leaves and chop and throw into a salad bowl.
Drain, slice and julienne pickled beets.
(in proportion, a half a cup of beets to each 2 cups of spinach)
Slice a red onion into very thin rounds and separate each round like you would for onion rings.
Make your favorite vinaigrette and toss salad.
(optional, crumbled blue cheese, fresh crumbled bacon)
This salad is great with steaks.
