They serve a version of these at Neiman Marcus at lunch instead of bread

1 cup milk
1 tablespoon melted butter
1 cup all purpose flour
¼ teaspoon salt
2 eggs

Preheat oven to 450° F. Beat the milk, butter, flour and salt together until smooth. One at a time add the eggs but don’t overbeat. Fill the buttered deep baker ¾ full. Bake immediately. After 15 minutes lower the heat to 350° F. Bake for another 20 minutes. To test doneness, remove one to see if the sidewall is firm.
